My first PRODUCT SHOWDOWN post and for this series we are going to do it on powder contour kits.
Below is a picture of both powder contour palettes side by side.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in "Light to Medium"Anastasia Contour Kit has three powder contour kits now, the one above would be the original one she first launched since she has "medium to tan" and "tan to deep" as well. I am a huge fan of ABH's eyebrow products one of the first products I ever tried from their brand was the Brow Wiz and let me just say that it was like a slice of heaven.. My eyebrows have never looked so good! With that expectation I was ready to try other products not just for brows. When I first tried the contour kit I really liked it but to be honest it was the only contour kit I owned at the time, not much of the other brands were on the contour wagon. I really loved that it blended easily, there was no signs of harsh lines. The contour kit came with 3 highlighters - Vanilla, Banana & Sand and 3 contour shades - Java, Fawn & Havana. I really liked that one of the highlighting shades were shimmery (Sand) so I love that it came with that, even though I do have highlighters but it was nice to have it all in one kit. I did notice that the contour shades were more on the orangery side and I preferred to have it on the cooler side. But none the less, I love it and now that she has two other colour options I will definitely look into purchasing the medium to tan because like I mentioned before she didn't have the other two when I got mine.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette
Where do I even begin with Kat Von D beauty? I love Kat Von D anything, her tattoo liner is my holy grail! So getting her contour palette was a given! I love that the contour shades are more on the brown tone and it blends like a dream! For the contour shades it's Sombre, Shadowplay and Subconscious. I use Shadowplay first and then apply a bit of Subconscious - it creates such a natural but define contour. I also love the highlighting shades - Lucid, Lyric and Levitation. I love to apply it like a highlighter on my upper parts of my cheeks and when I put the shimmery highlight over it.. It enhances it way more! It also gives that air bush look versus that powdery effect.
Final Round
