MONTHLY FAVOURITES: May 2015 ♡

May has come to an end... and what an interesting month it has been. For those of you that don't know I am a Gemini. Gemini season has a couple of weeks left... till June 20th.

But the bittersweet ending of every month is... having monthly favourites.

Some of my favourite beauty products this month are:

1. Lorac Pro Palette
   I cannot begin to explain how much I use this palette on a daily basis. There's a mixture of mattes and shimmers which I love. It's easier to create a day and night look. I'm also amazed on how the shimmer eye shadows are extremely pigmented and I don't need to pack on so much colour for it to show. I purchased this palette last year in Pennsylvania's Ulta Beauty and I have never looked back. I am so happy with this product and cannot wait to try more of Lorac products.
   
   
2. Makeup for Ever Pro Sculpting Duo
   
   I have the #1 which is the Pink Beige and can I just start off by saying that the highlight in this duo is EVERYTHING! Extremely pigmented! I wanted to go for a highlight I don't normally go for, I usually stick to my gold highlights cause of my skin complexion but this time I decided to step out of that and try something totally different! I am beyond glad I did! This is my everyday contour duo, it blends in seamlessly which I love! You have no idea or see any trace of that harsh highlight or contour. It looks natural! In love!
   
   
3. Laura Mericer Brow Definer + eye brow gel
   
   If you follow me on Instagram (@makeupbyjessmaltez) you would understand my love for Laura Mericer anything! I've only dyed my hair twice in my lifetime. The first time I did the ombre and the second time this year I decided to do highlights in a soft brown to make it look like sun kissed natural highlights that I usually get in the summer time. The colour I purchased from Laura Mericer Brow Definer is "Soft" and it matches perfectly. My brows are naturally dark brown but when I apply the brow definer it makes it warmer to go with my highlights! I love it! I also top it off with Laura Mercier's eye brow gel. I've had other brow gels before but the Laura Mericer one is the one for me.
4. Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eye Liner
   
   Again, I cannot rave enough about Laura Mericer products! I've used liquid, pencil and gel eyeliners but never something like this before! It is a dry eye liner that is best used with a flat eye liner brush. You wet the brush and dip into the product until it pays off on the brush. It's really long lasting and extremely easy to apply! My go-to product! I'm so happy I decided to purchase this product, I was literally missing out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to try other colours. The one I purchased is called "Black Ebony".
