GIFT IN A JAR

Christmas has passed!
But you probably still have christmas events to go to, that are with family or friends.
I did 8 "GIFT IN A JAR" for some colleagues of mine and they loved it! It was really cute and very inexpensive, especially if you have a lot of people you want to give a something too. It also beats giving a christmas card and was more personal since you took time to do it.

Items you'll need:
1. Mason jars
2. Table spoons
3. Measuring cup - 1/2
4. Hot chocolate powder
5. Chocolate Chips
6. Small marshmallows
7. Candy cane
8. String

Steps:
1. Wash out the mason jar with soap and water, and let it dry.
2. Pour 3 table spoons of hot chocolate powder.
3. Pour 2  table spoons of chocolate chips.
4. Pour 1/2 cup of small marshmallows
5. Close the lid.
6. Place a candy cane at the side of the mason jar. Tie a ribbon/string around the candy cane and make a bow.

Optional:
I printed out labels from the computer and hole punched them. I placed the label through the string and then made a bow.

And there you have your "Gift in a jar", I really loved this because it showed that you took time.

I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas with all your love ones and that you found this post helpful!

A TORONTONIAN FOODIE DREAM COME TRUE!

I haven't been on here in a long time and please forgive me for that. I've decided to try my best to post at least once a week and when my schedule starts clearing up I'll try and do three a week.

BUT! let's get to why you are here!

Toronto's Finest created something called "FOOD CRAWL PASSPORT" that takes place November 17th to December 17th for 4 weeks, 10 different restaurants all through Toronto will be offering one of their delicious dishes for $5 when you show your passport. They will stamp your passport as you go. I purchased mine Monday morning and received it Wednesday afternoon! Just in time, since it starts Thursday! The Food Crawl Passport cost $10 each + shipping $0.85.

This is a great way to try different restaurants in Toronto and find hidden gems!
I am excited! I will post each restaurant we visit and give a review!

Please visit their website to find out how you can get your hands on the Food Crawl Passport!

The only drama that I enjoy is in my lashes!

I get a lot of questions on my lashes and I love to share! So, I decided to make a post on it. (BTW! Snapchat filters are the bomb.com! These are my favourite filters plus the dog one lol!)

I wear falsies! I wear Kiss (@kissproducts) - Looks So Natural lash in Poise. This is a constant repurchase item for me! I love them! They look natural and blend with your own lashes! They feel super soft and light weight. The tips are tapered and aren't like other lashes that look choppy. I purchased mine from a local Wal-mart for 13.46$ before tax, it includes 5 pair of lashes.

I get a couple of uses of them with cleaning it! BUT! I'll save that for another post! :)

DJ Jeyoncé's Playlist Vol. 1

If you know me, you know I have a DJ name and yes I do make appearances especially when "DJ 4 THE NIGHT" (@dj4thenight) is there. I thought it'll be cute to make playlists with what song I'm loving and listening to. Something I love with music, is it takes you back! When you start listening to something that you used to back in that day, it takes you back in the day LITERALLY! I remember songs from when I used to listen in high school and I remember everything.

This is what I've been obsessing over this summer:

  1. Luv - Tory Lanez
  2. All In My Head (Flex) - Fifth Harmony Feat. Fetty Wap
  3. For Free - DJ Khaled Feat. Drake
  4. Send My Love (To Your New Lover) - Adele
  5. Let Me Love You - DJ Snake Feat. Justin Bieber
  6. Treat You Better - Shawn Mendes
  7. Is It Love - 3LAU
  8. Lost Boy - Ruth B
  9. This Is What You Came For - Calvin Harris Feat. Rihanna
  10. With You - Cedric Gervais Feat. Jack Wilby

Let me know what your listening to! I love listening to it all! might even get added on the next DJ Jeyoncé's Playlist post!

Fugo Desserts' famous COOKIE MONSTER

If your from Toronto... you have definitely seen pictures of Fugo Desserts' famous COOKIE MONSTER ice cream all over instagram/social media. That's where I've seen it and I couldn't resist to look up the location! It's located at Dundas St W and University Ave, the exact address is 205 Dundas St W, Toronto. Last Last Friday, we decided to try it and boy were we in luck! No line up! Unfortunately they sold out of their signature cone that comes with the dessert but it was all good cause their waffle cone was delicious! I'm not a huge fan of cookies n cream ice cream, I'm more of a cookie dough one. BUT! WAS THIS AMAZING! It taste so good! It was cookies n cream with I believe dye to make it look like the character from sesame street "Cookie Monster". They also added cute little chips ahoy cookies all over! After we ordered, I look over and the line up started!!! We made it just in time!

I would highly recommend this place for a cute/delicious dessert place for a date night in the city! I can't wait to go back and try more of their dessert especially "COOKIES N'DREAMS" ;)

If you go, let me know how it went and what you tried!

I am formerly known as "A Beauty With A Blog", but this will be my new blog name from now on.

I felt the name I had previously limited what I posted on it...
All things beauty? When I wanted to post about anything and everything...

Thank you for coming along with me on this new journey.

REVIEW: YSL Volupté Tint-In-Oil ♡

I finally got my hands on the new Yves Saint Laurent aka YSL - Volupté Tint-In-Oil in N° 5 Cherry My Cherie! I am in love with this product! The applicator is to die for! It's shaped a certain way to  make it easier to apply it on the cupid's bow/peaks of your upper lips. If you flip it the opposite way of the flat part, you can dab more product on your lips and smooth it out evenly with the flat part of the applicator. The oil gives a nice shine and it's a tint that when the oil is absorbed by your lips even after, it leaves a nice watermark! It also isn't sticky which I absolutely love! I would highly recommend this product to anyone! Especially for those of you that love tint even after it's absorb. If you apply it twice it gives you a nice pigment and extreme shine but if you prefer something natural just apply one coat. I love that you can build on it.

Hope you enjoyed this review! And let me know your thoughts or first impression!
