DUPE OR NAH: Benefit's NEW Roller Lash vs. Maybelline's Lash Sensational

I got one of Benefit's NEW Roller Lash mascara sample, and the full size packaging for this product is too cute! BUT! it's not all about the packaging for this gal especially when it has to do with LASHES! I also purchased Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara, but before purchasing it I notice that the wands for both products were very similar. I purchased Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara to do a review on both products and to see if they're comparable.

Benefit's Roller Lash

I have been using Benefit's Roller Lash mascara for awhile now and I absolutely love it for my bottom lashes. It's a mascara to make sure your lashes are curled as well as lifted for 12-hours. My lashes are naturally straight so I did notice the curl hold instantly! I also do own Benefit's They're Real mascara and I have to say truthfully... I prefer the "They're Real" mascara for my top lashes and the "Roller Lash" mascara for my bottom lashes. I have been using "They're Real" since they first launched and I've been hooked. I do prefer more lengthening than curling if I HAD TO PICK! But if it does it all! THEN SIGN ME UP! The retail price for this product is 29$ before tax.

Maybelline's Lash Sensational

I purchased Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara sometime last week and I actually had the opportunity to try it now! I can say... I REALLY LIKE IT! It gave me this nice wide-eyed fan look as well as I notice lengthening as well as separating.  It does say on the packaging that it's a volume mascara but I did one coat but I'm sure if you build on it you can create that full volume effect. The inner curve of the wand is built to coat your lashes from the root and when you flip it, the longer bristles are suppose to help fan out lashes tips. I purchased this mascara for about 5$ before tax, which is extremely reasonable in pricing!

Conclusion? 

I don't know if I can say Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara is a dupe to Benefit's Roller Lash? But I can say that the wands are very very similar! I do see that Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara does look thicker...

and I love benefit products like I mentioned before "They're Real" mascara is my holy grail!

BUT! For this dupe or nah series.... I'll have to go with Maybelline's Lash Sensational mascara. They both offer different results but I felt that the "Lash Sensational" mascara did it all!
